Riyadh – Mubasher: Dallah Healthcare Company (DHC) achieved SAR 53.8 million in net profits during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, 102.3% more than SAR 26.6 million in the prior-year quarter.
Sales volume and other income increased during the quarter ended in September as a result of improving operating levels, according to a stock exchange statement on Tuesday.
The rise in quarterly profit was driven by higher inpatients and outpatients’ levels for Dallah Namar Hospital, coupled with a growth in distribution and manufacturing pharmaceutical sales.
This came despite the increase in the company’s share in start-up losses form Dr. Mohammed Al Fagih Hospital and higher Zakat expenses.
Revenue for Q3-20 totalled SAR 350.8 million, a rise of 16.4% when compared to SAR 301.3 million in Q3-19.
During the first nine months of the year, the net earnings grew by 3.8% yearly to SAR 80 million.
